Beaches, islands and lakes; mountains, valleys and volcanoes - we are privileged to have such a natural environment.
The nature in full, beautiful and varied, poses gently around us: the Lake of Banyoles, the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà park, the natural parks of Cap de Creus and the volcanic zone of la Garrotxa, the cliffs of Castellfollit de la Roca, the beaches of the Costa Brava, the Medes Islands, the sea promenades which trace the coves of Begur and Palafrugell, the valleys of Ribes and Camprodon, and many other spots which are so worth visiting give us a quick glance of the natural richness of our region.
The hands of the humans have also created beauty, such as in the botanic gardens of Blanes and Lloret de mar.
