Sun energy & energy saving

In 2020, 88 photovoltaic solar panels were installed, with a peak power of 33kw.

And in 2025 we expanded it with 100 more panels (51.5kw) and 108kwh storage batteries.

And we have added control of the air conditioning, heating and lighting of the common areas, with remote connection and management by schedules and sensors.


FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION – NEXT GENERATION EU
Hotel Restaurant Sausa has received a grant of 79,025.07 euros from the Generalitat de Catalunya, Department of Business and Employment – ​​Directorate General of Tourism (file SEC070/25/000029), within the framework of the European instrument Next Generation EU and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain, under the protection of Order EMT/198/2024, of September 5.
Description of the action
The project consisted of improving the energy efficiency and digitalization of the establishment located on the National Road II km 732, Vilademuls (Girona), through two actions:
— Photovoltaic installation for self-consumption (51.50 kWp with energy storage), which allows reducing the electricity consumption from the network and the CO₂ emissions of the establishment.
— Intelligent building management system (BMS) for the control and optimization of air conditioning, heating and lighting in common areas, with remote connection and management by schedules and sensors.
